Spellmans Marina was originally a coal yard owned and operated by the Spellman family back in the 50′s.  Boots Spellman took over, after serving time in the Marines, and turned it into a marina.  Boots sold the business to Tim and Cheryl Doberstein on Jan. 2, 2001.
